I am Leslie Ann from Nowhere, VT who is called Meep. If I went to Hogwarts, I would be in Ravenclaw and my dæmon would be a least weasel. Sometimes I live in a rainy, windy, beautiful old city by the ocean, but I grew up in a town no one has heard of and no one would care to. I feel at home in the lightning struck Tower.
In real life, I'm a twenty (20) year old yin earth snake (己巳) Aquarius (♒) INTJ and 5. Currently, I'm a junior at Simmons College in Boston majoring in East Asian Studies and minoring in Communications and Cinema & Media Studies. I'll be studying at Kanda University of International Studies for an academic year starting in the fall.
I'm a feminist and a fangirl at heart. When I grow up, I want to be a purple tree.
When I'm not whining about working on my schoolwork, I read books (generally fantasy & young adult literature), manga (mostly shoujo and shounen-ai/yaoi; currently, I am obsessed with TSUBASA: RESERVoir CHRoNiCLe) and feminist blogs (like Feministing and The F Word), play video games (my favorites are Kingdom Hearts and Pokémon Silver), watch TV (two shows a week: House, M.D. and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit), and kill time (roleplaying (as Fay, L & Hakkai) and posting here). I play with creepy dolls. Sometimes I dabble in writing, web design and art, but my real passion is for academia; I love to learn.
